March 11th

Mom is back in rehab. I went by and visited with her yesterday and she seemed happy to be back. Of course, it's more work for her and it's painful for her to be moving so much with the swelling in her legs, but she knows what to expect and seemed to be doing great yesterday. All of the nurses remember her from back in December and they kept coming by to give her hugs and she how she has been. She is in great hands over at the rehab floor at Kennestone. I hope the swelling goes away so she can really focus on getting all of her strength back again!

If you want to visit, that is fine but keep in mind she has rehab throughout the day until 4:30pm or so, so it would be best to wait until after then to go and see her. Also, limit your visits to about an hour so she can rest when she needs to. Thanks for checking in!

I've fixed the comments so you should be able to leave comments now like you used to.

Thanks for the update, Lindsey. I am and we all are still praying for her so tell her. We are moving Tom's 85 year old parents in next door to us so we've been too busy to even call! I'm having 2 MRI's this week re-evaluating Chronic pain in my neck and lower back both of which have been surgery-ized, but the pain is back and ever present. We are about to make a trip to see our oldest granddaugter turn 2, so we'll see how that works, and if I have to have surgery or not, and it will have to be in the summer! Hope this gets to Krista - I love her dearly and miss her so much! Love, Peggy

I love the picture. It looks like Krista has a green flower in her hair. :-) Can she get calls in the rehab center? If so, please post her phone number.

Love you guys,
Aunt Charlotte
