December 21, part

Well, they had difficulty trying to find mom's port opening today. The doctor who installed it, Dr. Javed, wasn't there and mom's oncologist was the one administering the chemo and he couldn't find the opening. Since it's under the skin, they have to try and gauge where the opening is and if they aren't right, they have to keep sticking the needles in there until they find it. It took over an hour for them to find it, but they finally did.

Please pray for the rest of her treatments to go smoothly and for the doctors to have no difficulty in finding her port opening when she goes back in two weeks. If they have trouble finding it, she has to have a lumbat puncture and those are very painful. Thanks for checking in!

Hey Lins:
I've already boxed my angel and Maw-Maw's and addressed them to you, so you'll have to get them to your Mom for me. Tell her Don came home this week, too. I'll bet she's even more excited to feel the sun than he is - she's been imprisoned a month longer than he was. He's weak, but doing well - at least he can breathe on his own now! Tell Krista she looks great, we are still praying and expecting a miracle, and I'll call her soon. I can't wait to tell her about Don's experience with Jesus!
